rrrLock - simple (free) record locking

RRR AB supplies rrrLock to all ARSystem-administrators and consultants.
rrrLock is a simple record locking module that is robust, simple and very easy to install.

All you have to do is fill in the form below, and we will email you two definition files that you can import to your ARServer.

Technical description of rrrLock
The system consists of two parts
Generic - the rrrLock-form with two filters and an optional escalation
Custom - two active links that is connected to the form you want to give record locking functionality.
These two parts is sent to you as two separate definition files named rrrlock_generic_part.def
and rrrlock_custom_part.def.
The last file is updated with your own form name and the preferred active link names you supply in the
request form above.

This picture outline what happens in your system when a user opens a request.
The first thing that happens is that the YF rrrLock fires.


There is a couple of things that rrrLock can not do.
1 - a single user can not lock more than one record in each specific form
2 - records that are retrieved through API-programs etc. will not lock records
